The verbtest progris is a quiz to practice forming English tenses. When run you are given the option to select which tenses you wish to be quized on. The present tense is assumed, and if you do not select any others you will only be quizzed on the present simple.
Each quiz consistss of 10 questions selected from a list of 150 common verbs. The verbs available focus on irregular verbs and verbs for business English. Verbs which have multiple possible past forms (eg dream and dive) are not included for testing.
Examples of the tenses generated by the program are shown below for the verb "walk". Note that the tenses described as "continuous" are called "progressive" in some books. Also note that the future "will" is used by the program, instead of the more common "going to".
